Lochap David

David will be pursuing a Bachelors in Microbiology from Kampala International University at the Western Campus. David was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2016 and he spends his time volunteering as a Diabetes Counselor. He has also volunteered with the Red Cross, where he was President of his school’s chapter. 

DAVID’S VISION FOR THE FUTURE

David chose Biomedical Lab Technology, He wishes to become a laboratory technician. His experience working with the Red Cross and as a Diabetes Counselor has inspired his chosen career path.  He wishes to improve the health of others who share his diagnosis. Z

MORE ABOUT DAVID’S BACKGROUND:

David was sponsored through Child Restoration Outreach throughout secondary school.He prides himself on “leading by example” within his community, volunteer programs, and with friends.  Those who know him speak very highly of his work ethic, leadership capabilities, and determination - one mentor describes him as “quiet and soft-spoken.” but with “his actions speaking louder.”
