Dimokoli Sam

Sam became a CROSO Scholar in 2018 when he began his Bachelor's Degree program in Business Computing. He is studying in Kampala (when not in COVID times) at Makerere University Business School and is expected to graduate in 2021.

During his studies, Sam has gotten involved in leadership activities on campus, including getting elected as a Course Leader within his program. Sam believes that the experiences he's gained through talking with peers, lecturers, and university officials has taught him better communication skills and given him the confidence for future roles.

As a result of COVID-19, Sam's classes were all moved online. In August 2020, he shared with his CROSO Liaison, "About school, am still attaining online classes as there's still no hope of school resuming soon. Online classes are amazing apparently as have got used to it." Sam's resilience and ability to make the most out of these trying times will serve him well in the future.
